Update

We recently went to the state fair. While we were there we checked out how stiff the competition for the chickens might be in case we wanted to enter ours next year. Sam decided he's going to enter with a lego creation next year. Isn't this the craziest lookin' bird you've ever seen?

We went camping and fishing at Mirror Lake. We were quite successful. It was so beautiful. The night was pretty cold.

We had a chicken death in the family. Hermione will be remembered fondly.

We got a new leopard gecko that we named Green-Eyed Spotty.

Michael worked hard to get the green/blue rocks off the front of the house and put up shingles. Now we just need to do some painting and put up the new shutters Michael made.


I ran in the funky 10k with my friends, Abby and Jana and we took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

We went up to the Utah Olympic Park and tried the tobbagan rides there. These guys were the speedsters.

There was a beautiful view that we got to fully appreciate on the way down. We also watched the ski jumpers doing tricks to land in the pool. I'm really glad we got the chance to go up there.
